Beta Version Of New ASP.net Site Is Up And Running

While all of the revisions are not complete, some very significant work has gone on in improving the functionality of the ASP.net site.

Most of the features from the old site have stayed constant, such as the two navigation bars at the top of the page, and the community spotlight feed. The redesign includes some features such as more tutorials and the integration of social networking functionality (facebook, twitter, etc.). They have also added what they call an "Improved onboarding experience", which means that they intend to make it easier to get new developers started. It seems that the most important aspect here is to make sure that the site is much easier to use than the previous one.
